    Maria holds an EB1-A status in the US for foreign professionals with extraordinary and proven achievements in entrepreneurship, arts, and education with a global impact.

    Maria is a coach for students, business owners, teaching experts, and creative leaders in the design industry. She has trained over 1000 young architects and designers from 7 countries (online and in person).

    As an entrepreneur, Maria holds national and international awards.

    In 2022, Maria was selected among 400+ applicants in 500 Global (Palo Alto, CA, and Calgary, AB, Canada) — the World's Top Venture Accelerator; in 2023 — in Tampa Bay Wave Accelerator (Tampa, FL).

    Maria's company Artclever helps creative professionals from 23 countries gain relevant skills to get a job in the US and Canada-based companies and earn with their talents locally, remotely, or moving abroad. Also, with her company, she runs a non-profit campaign for youth employment in Oregon and social media channels with over 100K followers.

    Maria lives and works in Lake Oswego, OR, building the international professional community of Creative Professionals in partnership with US companies and institutions. She is married and raising a daughter.

  • Diana Balashova

    She is in the top-10 best decorators in Russia according to ELLE Decoration (Russia). Diana began her career as an artist-decorator in cinemas and theatre, having received a basic education as a theatre artist. Since the 90s, with the beginning of the construction boom in Russia, I came to the profession of interior designer. Diana has her own office "Diana Balashova Studios", which is working on the creation of residential and commercial interiors. Not being a follower of any particular style, Diana constantly experiments with the space assigned to her, using new materials, technologies, her own imagination and imagination. Its interiors are practical, maximally adapted to the customer and, at the same time, filled with fresh sensual ideas and innovative solutions that form its special handwriting. Diane is a regular participant of TV programs dedicated to the interior, where she transforms the space and gives artistic master classes to create DIY objects and objects for the interior. Diana is incredibly popular in her professional environment, not only thanks to her works, highly appreciated colleagues, but also because she is willing to share her experience.

  • Daniel Ackerman

    Daniel Ackerman began his professional career in filmmaking in 1984, graduating from the California Institute of the Arts School, specializing in Cinema and Video, working on various animation and video projects in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Portland as a technical director, visual effects coordinator, cameraman, and many other key positions, this experience formed his directorial skills. In 1990, he opened his visual effects studio in Portland, Oregon.

    In addition to work in the studio, he is keen on teaching the art of cinema. Courses under his direction are held at the Portland Art Institute and the Northwest Film Center. Daniel continues to work as Director of Photography on commercials and films for clients, including Sony, Intel, Adidas, Bent Image Lab and many others.

  • Alexander Ostrogorsky

    Journalist, was educated at the Faculty of Art History of the Russian State University for the Humanities, the subject of the thesis - "Modern Architecture Magazine" and Architectural Theory and Practice of 1920-30s "
    Since 2004, he wrote for business publications - the newspaper "Business", the magazine "The Secret Firms", the newspaper "Vedomosti". In 2008-2010 he was on the team of the Russian version of the Italian magazine on design and architecture Interni, was the editor of the section "House" in the newspaper "Vedomosti.Pyatnitsa."
    In 2011 he worked as the director of communications at the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design. In 2011-2012 he worked as an editor in the magazine Afisha.

  • Anna Kiparis

    She is a graduate of the Architectural College of the MCASI, the MARHI and the MA courses.
    She worked in the office of SPEECH, and at present she is the leading architect of the WALL office. Together with Ruben Arakelyan and Maria Pokrovskaya, she managed the Professional Skills module of the bachelor's degree MARSH (course 2015-2016).
